That people are boycotting Denmark or recalling their ambassadors suggests they don't understand that the Danish government have no control over the papers in their country. This 'insult' is seen as government policy, because that's what it would be if similar pictures were published in their country. Also, tolerance should never be extended to those whose intolerance extends as far as threats or acts of violence.
