That’s really rotten luck, Paul. I feel for you. We’ve just had a week of glorious weather in England – with lots of sunshine and warm temps. It’s a shame it has to change just when you are heading for the UK.
Mind you, with a forecast of temperatures over 80F in New York, I think you will at least be more comfortable in the UK!

Don’t believe the forecast, Paul, it’s like summer here in England, and set to continue for a couple of days more. And even it gets a little cooler, it looks beautiful. I love Manhattan, but as the poet says, Oh to be in England, now that spring is here…

Well, you were right. Saturday and Sunday were glorious.
I’m still trying to forget the misery that was Monday…

What’s more, here in NJ it’s not so humid, unlike the height of the Summer. It’s reached high 80s and even tipped 90.
But get this – we’re going on vacation to San Diego today. Last week, they had temps reaching 100. While we’re there – in the 60s!
Whenever we go back to England, we always seem to catch the weather after a nice spell, heading for a miserable patch.
