This Call May Be Recorded

Telemarketing calls are a hazard of working from home, which explains why I found this clip so refreshing. (Via Stephen Pollard.)

That is brilliant. I can’t believe I’m reading this after being home for the holidays. My family just joined the rest of the techno-savvy phone world by getting caller ID, but my mom STILL manages to pick up the phone and answer and actually LISTEN to telemarketers. I, on the other hand, answer, say NOBODY’s home they want to speak with, and say, don’t call back again:) Is that rude? My mom thinks so…Hope you had a good Thanksgiving!
