The View from my Office Window

…If I stand on the windowsill. Sorry for the lack of posts lately. Work is frantic. And getting this new apartment in order is gobbling up most of my free time. I spent eight hours at IKEA on Sunday and about 12 hours on Monday building furniture. On Tuesday, I discovered I’d pulled muscles I never even knew existed. My two remaining wisdom teeth are being pulled tomorrow, so I expect to be out of it for a couple of days. Thanks for being such an understanding bunch.

Not so understanding, I’ve moved on. I read Englishman in New Pork now.
Your work is not so frantic as to interfere with you whipping me at scrabble is it paul?? You managed to fit that in alright…
Good luck with the wisdom teeth. The painkillers are sooooo worth it
Don’t worry, Paul. First things first. Hope the trip to the dentist went well.
Speaking of dentists, did you hear how brits are resorting to self-dentistry as a result of a dentist shortage in the UK? Of course this could be as true as the 20,000 dead in N.O. after Katrina and the bodies stacked to the ceiling in the superdome and people raping babies. Here’s the link anyway: http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20071015/wl_uk_afp/britainhealthdentists
Hey Berger, how’s the mouth?
A lot better thank you. It still feels like I have been punched in the face and I can’t open it properly. But I managed to eat a whole vegetable stir fry last night.
I had my wisdom teeth out when I was 22 and it was the most painful thing I have ever experienced. Well, apart from giving birth to a 9 1/2lb baby……….
