I have a new toy. After a few months uming and ahing I finally caved and bought a Palm Treo 755P.

Among other things I hope it will help me to post more often from the streets (and restaurants) of New York. Tonight, after a very long day of work, it’s a late sushi dinner at Geido with Sofie.

2 more weeks of uming and ahing and you could have had an iphone.

I have a similar thing Paul. My boss bought it for me so that he can email me on Saturday when I am sunbathing with my girlfriend and totally crash my groove. Also all my clients have the number so they can do same thing. My ever loving girlfriend calls it the “Freaky Beau Mobile”

The only thing I like about it is that you can take a photo and instantly email it and also that the stylus is very good for getting the grime from under my fingernails

Dear Cretin,

The Treo was cheaper to buy and to run than the iPhone. And I would have had to wait a fair bit longer for Apple to iron out all the kinks.

I’ll stick with the Treo for now and see the lay of the iPhone land in two years time.

I think what I will always treasure about you Paul is your devil-may-care impulsiveness.

That’s funny Beau, because that’s what I have always treasured about you.
