On Friday afternoon we went for a long walk in Prospect Park for Sofie’s birthday. It’s so nice to take advantage of the park when most people are at work.

Here’s the birthday girl enjoying the view of the Audubon Center.

The woods were gorgeous. I think we hit just the right time of day at just the right time of year.

The fall light even brought out the best in the buildings. This is the corner of 7th Avenue and 9th Street in Brooklyn. Happy birthday one last time Sofie!

I have to say the first two scenes are enchanting, how you found this place, especially in a metropolitan city.

Thanks Ermiyas. It’s the park at the top of our street.

London has many beautiful parks too.
