Palin Speak II

By

Exhibit B: Condescending. Bumbling. Garbled. There were time last night when I was incredulous that Palin was even elected Governor. (Via Gawker.)

This seems like a superficial criticism. Is it that you don’t like her “folksiness” interspersed into the debate?

And to compare newbie with newbie (I guess this is why the Obama/ Palin comarison is always made) do you think Obama was a good debater when he was newer to the scene during the primaries?

Yeah, as someone who enjoyed Palin’s speech to the RNC, I found the folksiness last night demeaning and condescending.

All that winking at the camera as though she and the American people are smarter than these pols just rings false and the act has already worn thin.

As for Obama, I have to admit I barely remember those early debates. I do know that he, and Hillary, both came across well though.

Here, let me remind you how well Obama can come across when his teleprompter went out.

Contrast this to Palin, who’s teleprompter went out during her RNC speech and almost nobody could tell that she was ad libbing.

Obama’s teleprompter goes out:
