Molitva-argh

By pdberger

After reading that Serbian Marija Serifovic won the Eurovision Song Contest yesterday I thought I should take a look at the song on YouTube. Though Sofie was in another room and had no idea what I was doing, about 30 seconds into the video she shouted to ask if I was watching Eurovision. I think that goes to show both why Serifovic’s song won and why the contest is so goddamn awful. What do people see in Eurovision?

And let’s not forget the UK’s contribution to the Euro-vacuousness…

I watched the show a couple of years ago, just to have an idea. BEFORE watching it, as Italian I was surprised that Italy wasn’t represented in the Eurofestival. AFTER, I was quite proud, actually!! Really awful.
