Definitely take a boat along the Thames to Greenwich for the day. If the weather is good it is one of the nicest ways to travel here.
Also, check out Borough Market on a Saturday. It's at London Bridge Tube Station on the Northern Line.
Another favourite is Richmond Park. If you fancy some time out os the centre take a trip down there. Richmond Town Centre is lovely and you get to wander around with the Deer.
Enjoy!

Are you writing these latest posts from the road or are you pulling a fast one and having them publish themselves?

I'm onto you!

I used to enjoy walking along the south bank of the river, especially around Tower Bridge. There are lots of good places to eat and drink around there. There's also a nice place on the opposite side of the river from Tower Bridge, I think called Butler's Wharf, where you can sit outside and have a beer.

Another good place to explore is Borough Market. There's also a good pub down there. I think it's called the King's Head. Anyone?

I suggest sundown drinks on the sixth floor of the OXO tower. Great views of the river. Also, if you are hungry late nights, head to Edgewear Road for kebabs, hookah, and conversation.
