Ken
ByGalloway is an idiot but Ken has won back some respect:
“This was not a terrorist attack against the mighty and the powerful; it is not aimed at presidents or prime ministers; it was aimed at ordinary working class Londoners, black and white, Muslim and Christians, Hindu and Jew, young and old, indiscriminate attempt at slaughter irrespective of any considerations, of age, of class, of religion, whatever, that isn’t an ideology, it isn’t even a perverted faith, it’s just indiscriminate attempt at mass murder, and we know what the objective is, they seek to divide London. They seek to turn Londoners against each other and Londoners will not be divided by this cowardly attack,” said Mr Livingston.
He then had a message for the terrorists who had organised the explosions.
“I wish to speak through you directly, to those who came to London to claim lives, nothing you do, how many of us you kill will stop that flight to our cities where freedom is strong and where people can live in harmony with one another, whatever you do, how many you kill, you will fail.”

Couldn’t agree more. I put Ken’s words on my site yesterday eve, I’ve never been a fan of his but he was spot on with these words.

We suffer, we assimilate and we continue. Reading the accounts of those who went through the bombings and of those who have been left bereft and confused by the loss of their loved ones affects us all. But life goes on,not only do we have no choice but we feel no real threat from these people at the level they are trying to infiltrate. Our values and behaviour, moral and immoral, will not be changed by the actions of a terrorist minority. We continue our day to day life, just as we continue to be a haven for those who seek to change their lives, for those who seek to flee the regimes that inspire these attacks. We are not perfect by any stretch but neither are we weak. We will continue, without faltering and without capitulation to those who use politics or religion as a reason to kill. And despite the apparent naivety of this statement, I can only insist that the opinions and beliefs of the citizens of the UK do not necessarily reflect the actions of our government.
